Why FXmorph
Built for movement
Automate anything without touching your DAW's automation lanes — and keep it all locked to tempo.
-
Host-synced sequencer
1–32 bars, 4/8/16 steps per bar, with per-lane loop length for polyrhythms.
-
Bipolar modulation
Every param has a base knob and a depth control — the lane modulates around the base, centre = no change.
-
Hold & glide smoothing
Sample-accurate, click-free interpolation. Snap, ramp, or glide between steps.
-
MIDI learn
Right-click any base knob to map a CC. Perform the sequence from your controller.
-
A / B compare
Audition two pattern variations instantly and keep the one that hits.
-
Lane draw tools
Paint ramps, sine, triangle, or square shapes — invert and reverse in a click.

FAQ
Questions, answered.
Everything you need to know before you load FXmorph. Want the full walkthrough? Grab the User Guide below.
-
What formats and operating systems are supported?
FXmorph ships as VST3, AU, and Standalone. macOS builds are Universal (Apple Silicon + Intel, macOS 10.13+); Windows is 64-bit VST3 + Standalone; Linux is VST3 + Standalone. AU is macOS-only. It loads in any VST3/AU host — Ableton Live, Logic, FL Studio, Bitwig, Reaper, Cubase, Studio One, and more.
-
What exactly does FXmorph do?
It runs 12 effects in series — Filter, Delay, Reverb, Distortion, Chorus, Sidechain Comp, EQ, Phaser, Flanger, Tremolo/Auto-Pan, Ring Mod, and Lo-Fi — and lets a host-synced step sequencer automate every parameter. Each parameter has a base knob value plus a per-step modulation lane, so you can draw rhythmic filter sweeps, stutter delays, gated reverbs, and pumping compression that all lock to your project tempo.
-
How do the modulation lanes work?
Every parameter has a Base value (the knob) and a bipolar step lane. The lane centre means “no change”; steps above add a positive offset, steps below subtract — and a per-lane Depth control sets how far a full step reaches. Set the number of bars (1–32) and steps-per-bar, optionally add swing and step glide, and the whole pattern follows host tempo. The full User Guide explains this in detail.
-
How many presets are included?
Over 150 factory presets across every effect category — Filter, Delay, Reverb, Distortion, Chorus, Compressor, EQ, Modulation, Lo-Fi, and Combos — plus a new “Mayhem” category where every preset engages all 12 effects at once. You can also save and recall your own presets, and A/B two states instantly.
-
Is there MIDI or parameter automation support?
Yes. The sequencer is tempo-synced to your host transport, and every base parameter is exposed for host automation, so you can record and draw moves from your DAW on top of the step sequences. The sequencer can also be driven by MIDI: advance one step per Note On, or use MIDI Trigger mode to restart the pattern from a pitch-mapped step (C4 = step 1) — it then runs on at host tempo. Any CC can be MIDI-learned to any base or depth knob.
-
This is a beta — what does that mean for me?
Beta builds are unsigned while we gather feedback. On macOS, right-click the plugin/app and choose Open on first launch; on Windows, click “More info → Run anyway” if SmartScreen appears. Each download includes an INSTALL.txt with per-OS steps. Found a bug or have a request? Let us know.
-
What are the system requirements?
A 64-bit host on macOS 10.13+, Windows 10+, or a modern Linux distro. FXmorph is lightweight, but with all 12 effects and dense modulation active, CPU scales with the number of enabled effects — bypass what you are not using to save headroom.
